Sanjiv Rai

I hail from a small village in Darjeeling, where I was born into a Hindu family. However, my life took a profound turn in 2004 when I embraced Christianity and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. This newfound faith led me to take the significant step of baptism, symbolizing my commitment to following Christ. Following my baptism, I felt an intense calling to serve the Lord. Between 2004 and 2006, I served as a pastor at BCI Church, where I began to develop my leadership skills and share the Gospel with others. In 2013, I relocated to Darlong Seijosa, where I was appointed as the pastor of IGC Seijosa. Since then, I have been faithfully serving the congregation, guiding them in their spiritual journeys, and spreading the message of hope and redemption. On a personal note, I am blessed with a loving family, comprising my wife, mother, and two sons. We share a deep bond, and they have been my pillars of strength throughout my ministry. As I reflect on my journey, I am humbled to realize that I have been serving the Lord as a pastor for 19 years. It has been an incredible privilege to dedicate my life to sharing the Gospel, mentoring believers, and watching lives transform through the power of Christ.
